a calming atmosphere enhanced by the careful planting of trees, shrubs and flowers, making this the perfect place for those wanting to relax and unwind.
Set in the Vale Royal area of Cheshire, Lamb Cottage enjoys a lovely countryside setting. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunity for hiking and cycling, while Blakemere Craft centre is a short walk away. Animal-lovers are well catered for, with both Chester Zoo and the Blue Planet Aquarium a short drive away. The newly refurbished Anderton Boat Lift and the Ellesmere Port Boat Museum are close by, and if you enjoy shopping, you’ll find some real bargains at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village. If you’re staying in July, the Royal Horticultural Society holds its annual show in the grounds of nearby Tatton Park, where the house and gardens are open all year.
While the site is peaceful, it’s also convenient for the M56 and M6 motorways, so Liverpool and Manchester are within easy reach.
