We have stayed at this site many times over the years. It is very handy for one of the Snowdon walks (just over the road). It is peaceful, surrounded by trees and secluded. Safe for children with an element of adventure!
Beddgelert village is a short walk away with a lively social life and good places to eat. There is a shop which sells home made ice cream - delicious. The history of Beddgelert is fascinating and there is a short walk around the river encompassing the grave of a courageous dog "Gelert" Well worth a visit!

We booked in and payed for a week but left after only one night! The site was almost full so many people like it but most parts for touring caravans are so deep in the trees that you feel like its late evening even on a bright sunny day!We all felt claustrophobic in many areas.Lots of good points, the facilities were good and clean, shop on site, play area and lovely walks etc.The areas for tents were in nice open areas. If you dont want to see day light,if you dont mind being totally engulfed in trees, then this is for you.The birds and wildlife were great but not enough to make us want to stay there.
